A WATERSHED
IN DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Capable, functional and above all wonderfully livable ICON is all about the fun of being on the water
The 67.5m I 221’ ICON was built in steel and aluminum for long-range navigation. Her naval architecture and general arrangement were developed by Icon Yachts with Jouke Van Der Baan while her beautifully proportioned exterior styling is by Redman Whiteley Dixon (now RWD). Custom built from the waterline up, Studio Linse designed ICON’s minimal chic interior. When she was launched in 2010, ICON was one of the first platform yachts to be built, anticipating a trend that would become standard practice over the next ten years. A huge amount of time was spent on planning and building the platform which would serve two additional yachts. The effort paid off. Performance, functionality and comfort underpin ICON’s success and longevity.

One of the most successful yachts in her class (and a sought-after charter yacht), ICON has been well maintained with an appropriate budget from the Owner and by longstanding dedicated crew.
Fully refitted in 2014 including a 5m extension, ICON now features an aft deck swimming pool and a beautiful beach club built around a state-of-the-art wellness area with a massage room, gym, sauna, and inside and outside showers. The swim platform is furnished with sun loungers and a bar. Very few yachts of her size have such outstanding facilities.

ICON’s interior was designed by the Dutch Studio Linse. Renowned for their work in luxury hotels and residences, Linse combines functionality and aesthetics with a touch of ‘precise luxury’.
ICON’s avant-garde layout ensures that the interior and exterior areas come together to maximize the enjoyment of ocean living.

ICON’s cascading deck layout purposefully links the beach club to the upper decks creating one large, multi-level entertainment and relaxation area.
Her interior is equally well-planned balancing comfort with functionality. Decorated in soft pastel tones, it is spacious and airy with excellent headroom throughout, welcoming with a minimalistic feel.
The accommodations include an owners’ private apartment across two decks linked by a private staircase, a VIP and children’s or nanny’s stateroom on the upper deck and four guest staterooms on the lower deck with direct access to the beach club. ICON sleeps up to 13 guests and has 19 crew. Check the galleries below for a detailed overview of ICON’s exterior, decks and interior.
